Heeding Haiku With Chèvrefeuille, December 7th 2016 : lonely flower

lonely-flower

On the way home I cycled to the park. The children were feeding the ducks in the lake, some playing football and some in the slides and swings. Some mothers with toddlers were also there. Such joy to watch them. There was also a garden full of flowers, but something caught my eyes. On the other side of the park was a lone red flower, blooming. It was so beautiful. I was mesmerised!

The clear blue sky
The wind brushing my hair
A lone red flower
