Creativity Challenge 26 – Threat

In a land not so far away, a girl named Narda
The orphan girl Narda with young brother Ding
Found a white stone on her walk by the woods
It was a tiny meteorite from outer space
They chose her to be the super woman
Because of her pure heart to defend the earth
And when she swallowed the white stone
She turned to Darna with all the super power

This orphan girl Narda turned to super Darna
Just by swallowing the stone and shouting Darna
She’s got super strength, super speed and telekinesis
Her skin has a high level of invulnerability
The ruby in her helmet and her bracelet deflect bullets
She’s here to save earth, this orphan girl Narda
Who turned to super Darna by shouting Darna
She’s Darna of the Planet Marte

We follow her every escapade and battle
Fighting Valentina, the dreadful female snake
Or Pusang Itim, the cat who threatens the world
She met Captain Barbell on one of her journeys
Captain Barbell is also a good hero saving the earth
And so this orphan girl Narda, who turned to super Darna
Fell in love for the first time with Captain Barbell
And together they save the earth from the evil intruders

Mother-Talking-With-Son2
Family relationships, mother and son

Today’s Prompt:

The phone call from her son’s high school principal was something she was totally unprepared to receive.

“What has he done this time?” Marlene mused to herself. They have just moved to this place and has found the school close to it. The school offered a wide range of sports and other extra-curricular activities for the pupils. After the divorce case and all the cost involved, they were just getting on top of things. Martin seemed fine with the move and has decorated his room with his favourite posters. He was even thinking of going to watch his team’s match at the weekend.

“Mrs. Smith, I just would like to let you know that your son Martin has hit one of his classmates, Paul and has threatened him with more violence, had we not been able to stop the fight. I talked to both of them. Paul had said something which Martin didn’t like. The key point was they apologised to each other. So, for now, let it just be a warning for both the pupils.” Marlene thanked the principal and told her that she’ll have a word with Martin when he gets home.

Thomas and friends went to a bachelor party
Went to different pubs and drunk a lot with glee
There was even a stripper
Somehow made them purr
Came home to waiting Mrs. who is very angry
… DUCK!!!

What freedom! As we shout with glee. Free at last! Free to flee from threat. We were with self-doubt beset. Freedom to fight on other people’s plight. Freedom to dream about things that make us gleam. Freedom to travel and win our own battle. Freedom to wander when we’re feeling some anger.

Oh what freedom! Freedom to be with each other, no matter what. Come rain or high waters, we are together. Freedom to love so we can coo like doves. Freedom to do what we want and to be where we want to be. To swim, to dance, to read a book and to have a nice cup of tea. Freedom is wonderful, indeed!
