More than any other literary form, science fiction courts obsolescence. I thought it’s the other way around. That sometimes we can relate what’s happening in the real world to some science fiction stories. Like that one that I have just read. In there they allowed a lot of aliens come to their planet due to their mawkish sentimentality. They were not able to control them, instead the aliens gained strength and power that they end up ruling their planet. Like what’s happening in our real world when too many people cross the borders… but shall we close the borders?

Write like Jane Austen
What else, what else?
I’d like to discover
The cure to cancer
And other illnesses
Encourage others to
Be nice to one another
Live in peace and harmony
And accept our differences
