Follow the light

a bright light appeared to me once
on the ceiling in the distance
perhaps it helps me for my plight
all I need is follow the light

something to guide me as I grow
if I don’t try I’ll never know
I believe in my own sprite
all I need is follow the light

I make my own fortune, that’s true
it doesn’t work I’ll just redo
to the unknown with all my might
all I need is follow the light

trial and error, that’s for me
when everything works, a delight
and all I need is follow the light
