S is for Spirit’s Vessel

Spirit’s Vessel, a poetry form created by Christina R Jussaume on April 7, 2008, consists of three stanzas of six lines each of six syllables each. These stanzas must start with the letters VESSEL OF YOUR last word is 6 letters and your choice. The poem must be uplifting in content and spiritual in nature. It may be with or without rhyme. Rhyme is a plus. It should be left justified.

Vessel of memory

Of being together

The love and care for each

In sickness and in health

Until death do us part

Face the world come what may

Vessel of our choice

I with you, you with me

Of devotion and faith

In good times and bad times

Our world full of roses

We try to make it work

Vessel of our wonder

Each one a mystery

Still full of surprises

Last piece of our puzzle

We complete each other

We’re lost without each one
