the River Isar – we spent most of our summers walking, cycling, swimming, having a picnic, meeting friends along the River Isar
our Austrian trip – stayed in a castle, walked a lot (the hills are alive…), swam, fine dining, being pampered in their spa
Lake Alster in Hamburg – sailing and relaxing right in the city centre
lovely flowers in our garden – dahlias, lavender, roses, bees, butterflies
Miniature Wunderland in Hamburg – the world’s largest model railway exhibition
So, what made you smile this week?

What great photos for this theme. The flower is so colorful! Pops right out! I love that model train setup. That must have been really cool to see!

So many places = a boatload of summer fun! Like many other commenters, I really like the first photo with the three colourful kayaks. They provide a good sense of scale.

I think I’d really love to float down the Isar river and be pampered in an Austrian castle! Love the captures you chose for this month. 🙂

I really enjoyed looking at your photos for Summer Fun this month. I especially like the first one of the river landscape with three small spots of colour from the canoes which really give it a sense of scale.
As always a job well done x

I didn’t participate in the challenge this month, I hope you don’t mind me commenting. Your photos are stunning. The colours of the kayaks pop against the water, I love the flower. It is so bold. The miniature world is so cool. If I didn’t see the elbow in the corner I would have thought it was real. I enjoyed your summer fun. In love and light Cheryle
