When waking up all fresh
Ready to face the world
Ready to face any challenge
With imperceptible integrity
I can smell the bread and coffee
Baking and brewing in the kitchen
The sun is peeking in my window
Saying hello and wishing me well
I’m taking my time breathing in
All the energy I need to start my day
The positive vibes I like to impart
The smile, the friendly handshake
The support, encouragement, fun
To everyone I meet and engage with
Today indeed is a glorious day!
