Tatay
My grandfather
He was always reading
He died of Parkinson’s disease
Tall, dark and handsome, with pipe on his mouth
He called Nanay “dear” till the end
We still remember him
Had lots of books

Deaf as a post
Short, flat nose, wavy hair
Died of a broken heart
When my grandfather passed away
They had many children, with my Mum, too
Had a shop in front of the house
