Car in front of the family home
As they sat in front of the fire
Glacier rasped the valley floor
All the saints gather on holy hour
A silent but freezing morning

The cold wind numbs her
Walking through the buildings
Each step seems longer
They used to walk here

When she was loved

Sad but life goes on
Trust was broken
Over and over
Even when they climbed the mountain
And looked at the paintings
Still they had to face the truth
They were not meant to be
Best to part ways
The memories stay
Some happy and some sad
No regrets, time to move on
