Sunday Photo Fiction – Can’t you see the sign?

© Sascha Darlington

Can’t you see the sign? Stop right there then
This is madness, you can’t follow me here
And as if the wind urges you to veer
Don’t let me shout, I’ll even count to ten
Although I miss you, I’d stay in my pen
The memory lingers on, that is clear
The sound of your voice still gives me a tear
You’ve hurt me, I have no power left then

No one has the sand to stand against fate
In this respect the sands of time run out
So please, do not go further than the gate
The story ends here and we live without*
