Selfie ~ Pic and a Word Challenge #137

razzle-dazzle me, full of fun
energy – tons
such a delight
everything’s bright

indeed, life’s full of razzmatazz
all that is jazz
with pizzazz, too
and zest for shoes

come one, come all and join us here
got wine and beer
dancing all night
oh what a sight!*

100 Word Wednesday: Week 69 – This paradise

In safe haven out of reach from the crowd
This paradise it was fate God has endowed
I saw from the beach, when the morning was shining
Such marvelous feeling but I sadly remember nothing
A bark of tree over the waters move gloriously on
To be repentant is an uneven expanse to sleep on
Each wave that we danced on at morning fades from us
As it departs at eve, on the bleak shore without a fuss
I stare at the fading light outside and the rain beginning
The tide drums along the empty beach and I am yawning

Heeding Haiku With Chèvrefeuille, May 2nd 2018 … railway trip

After three days tiger watching (we saw 2 tigers one morning, otherwise, mostly tiger food) in Ranthambhore, we boarded the train to New Delhi. It would take six hours of travelling. We were in the first class carriage. We passed by people boarding the other classes and the economy, hundreds of them! They were cheek by jowl, virtually holding one another up. The vendors came, selling tea, dodgy water, home-made vanilla ice-cream and crisps. We bought the ice-cream and boy, did we suffer! Food poisoning in the middle of the night wasn’t funny. That was an experience and a half.
