Carpe Diem Renga Challenge #3 Chrysanthemum Dew

Carpe Diem's Renga Challenge

the image shows
an old woman weeping alone
my friend the moon

passing through autumn
a butterfly seems to lick
chrysanthemum dew

five or six
sitting with tea and cakes
a fireplace

a skylark sings
the pheasant’s voice is
the instrumental music

how glorious
young green leaves
flash in the sun

early summer rains
falling so heavily they cover up
the waterfall

the image shows
an old woman weeping alone
my friend the moon

brush the loneliness away
for the wind brings some hope

passing through autumn
a butterfly seems to lick
chrysanthemum dew

like crystal pearl drops
such a morning surprise

five or six
sitting with tea and cakes
a fireplace

reminiscing of the past
feeling all sentimental

a skylark sings
the pheasant’s voice is
the instrumental music

lovely song radiates through air
the moon and stars pirouetting

how glorious
young green leaves
flash in the sun

flowers bloom get rid of gloom
days longer sky’s clearer

early summer rains
falling so heavily they cover up
the waterfall

sound of the fountain of life
stridently flowing
