All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go… In two weeks’ time, I’m off to the Philippines to visit my mother and I’m really looking forward to seeing her again. We were supposed to go to Bali but I have to cancel it after the earthquakes and the possible after-effects. Never mind, we’ll do other things and go somewhere else. The most important thing is to be with her for three weeks. That’s my first thanks.
We’ve been cycling today – to Waldwirthschaft, our favourite beer garden. It took us an hour to get there but it’s worth it. The band played jazz and the food and beer are delicious. Here’s to Him Indoors and me – together forever! Thanks.
The weather is still hot and our garden is thriving, lots of flowers, chillies, ferns, apples, grapes and the tortoises are happy eating their dandelions and lettuce. Very grateful indeed.
Thanks for all the food on our table. Here are some of the things we’ve been cooking and having.
HRH the son and beautiful K skyped us this afternoon. They are both fine. Thank you.

I do like John Denver! 🙂 🙂 So many troubles in your homeland, Lady Lee, but I know you and Mum will simply be happy to be together. Thanks for sharing!

Very organized (for a trip)… back a while ago I did some traveling (out West) and I was the ‘well, the plane doesn’t leave for a couple of hours, plenty of time to pack!’ guy.
excellent photos, as always.
