Photo Challenge #227 – I walk around as the horse gallops

THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “The Heat of Autumn” by Jane Hirshfield: ripens, turns, walk, spine, horse, measure, cancer, belts, silver, belongs, empty, pleasure

I walk around looking for face
Anything to fill empty place
With pleasure I like to belong
So I can belt out with a song
Measuring my steps until my face is found
There’s a silver lining and still I walk around

The horse gallops fast in the fields
Turn around with balloon it shields
Walk barefoot as the fruit ripens
Their digging for worms, these robins
You can take photographs of me but no close-ups
Still swaying with the wind as the horse gallops*
