Courage doesn’t roar, it’s quiet
A voice that says “I’ll try again”
It sees vision like in train tracks
It blossoms like a mandala
It listens to truth and reasons
Courage doesn’t roar, it’s quiet
Though bruised, it carries on fighting
Savour its win in some matches
Though numb with aches, it tries again
Using some tools like the nails
Courage doesn’t roar, it’s quiet
Thinking of some creative edge
Courage is playing fair and square
It doesn’t cheat, it doesn’t hurt
It’s doing what it thinks is right
Courage doesn’t roar, it’s quiet*

I like the thought that courage does not roar. Maybe true courage does not have to make a sound. Beautiful poem!

I think you can find courage in most things, and sometimes it roars, sometimes it is quiet, sometimes it is fierce, sometimes it stays back, it is always waiting. A wonderful poem!
