Day 23 : See Me

I am your loyal friend
Pleasant soul
Will stand by you no matter what
Your party I attend
To stroll
For you I will take the bullet

But sometimes it’s not clear
When we fight
We have said something we shouldn’t
When you think I am queer
It’s alright
I would not take it as affront

Beneath the exterior
I am me
I’m not perfect in any way
To stay as we were
That’s the key
Like some musicals on Broadway*
