E is for Echo Verse

An Echo Verse is when the last word or syllable in a line is repeated or echoed underneath to form a rhyming line, normally ending as the last line being the title to the poem.

What do I really want in life?
That we shouldn’t strife
Is that what you want, too?
Wow, question out of the blue
Oh please, just answer my question
That we shouldn’t have this session
Let’s start again, I want tea instead of coffee
Don’t forget the toffee
Ah yes, and cheese and crackers
With firecrackers!
I want to be able to travel
Secrets to unravel
With you all the time
Even without a dime
Always and forever
