At last, the bells rang, and he whisked her away

The earth quivered with the stars
Not dearth to cut the rough granite
At last, the bells rang, and he whisked her away

Under the dogwood she waited
With garland of wild flowers
The earth quivered with the stars

Water beneath her feet
Waiting for her knight in shining armour
Not dearth to cut the rough granite

He might be a hard pill to take
But she was spellbound nevertheless
At last, the bells rang, and he whisked her away*
