The clock was ticking loud and clear
People drink some water and beer
People waiting, people chatting
Nothing to do but be patient
Children playing and some pacing
In their laptops they’re formatting
Without batting their eyes they watch
They watch each other with scotch
Bored of reading their romance book
Bored of sudoku and crosswords
They want to be out and hear birds
To walk and stop by the brooks
With sketchbook they’ll try to draw
Even with flaw they’ll be unhook*

There is so much captured of daily life in this poem. Great job.
