Of shades of powdered blue and you
Trash talk and some outré breakthrough
Galvanizing my thoughts, no clue
Staunch and new, staunch and new

In my opinion leer and tough
Bluffing and all the huff and puff
Fist bump, sometimes murky handcuff
Cake and cream puff, cake and cream puff

In the grid of light and dark shade
Lovely and ugly I’m afraid
Repair to be done as we played
Leering and aid, leering and aid*
