Thursday photo prompt: Fume #writephoto

smoke

THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “In Memoriam A. H. H. OBIIT MDCCCXXXIII: 106” by Alfred, Lord Tennyson: wild, false, ring, hand, bells, feud, peace, darkness, dying, spire, wars, mournful

What could have triggered this fire in the woods?
Wild smoke pictured in darkness backwoods
Ring bells! Ring bells! For it’s mournful
Dying forest that’s so harmful
Once started everything turns nothing
Ring bells, hope we could still do something

Forget the feud, forget the false friendship
Wars, not caring beget all the tension
Have peace! Have peace! Hope is still there
Hand in hand we all show we care
From the spire we see the shape of beast
Have peace, forget material things at least*
