Christine’s Daily Writing Prompt: An American in Paris

1-5-2020

THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “‘Your Luck Is About to Change'” by Susan Elizabeth Howe: reasonable, running, point, interest, year, insist, pain weather, legion, cow, camel, newborn

An american in Paris
Interesting for she’s a heiress
Insisted to be treated same
For that she can not be blamed and she’s embarass

The point is she’s reasonable
All year she’s unbelievable
Like a newborn giving a fuss
Such pain for she’s got guts and is seasonable

The weather in Paris suits her
Drinks milk from cows which she prefers
Eats bagels instead of baguettes
Lounge in her kitchenette and wears something like fur*
