Fri-Yay and Scrumptious

Hello everyone! We’ve just came back from our scrumptious dinner this Friday night. It was my belated birthday celebration with some friends and we went out to a fine French restaurant in town. It was wonderful!


It was a five course meal with appropriate wine for each course. We’ve started with a bottle of rose apperitiv with a surprise little dish, avocado cream with passion fruit.

For the fish course, we had salmon fondue, then we had lamb in maultasche, the main dish with 3 types of meat, so tender and fine, everything they explained, but forgot the details by now… all I remembered was the fun we all had with the food and the wine and the company… of course, they dimmed the light as they greeted me with the scrumptious dessert.

Sorry, I could not see the images on your blog before today – we are having a lot of rain and fog this winter, and all my contributions from Europe have trouble getting through!
