Tale Weaver – #275 – Fairytale – The Frog Prince – 14th May

THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “At the Dentist’s” by Deirdre O’Connor: fill, tooth, help, unharmed, needlepoint, stacked, arms, smiles, afraid, mix, faces, mittens

Better be in the pond unharmed and well
The witch with her wand changed me with spell
Help me! Help me! With your smiles
I’ve been hopping from miles and miles
I’m afraid I won’t be back to be prince
Help me get out from this well as I wince

As the girl fills out her bucket there’s hope
She’s pretty and demure so I can cope
Stack me! Stack me! With kiss
Please kiss me and with such a bliss
Mixed feelings when I saw her tooth that miss
Stack me with kiss, anything than this

She saw my face and felt sorry for me
Told my tale, her heart melt and I am free
Thank you! Thank you! I’m prince again
To the castle, marry my Jane
Arm in arm us both as we walk away
Thank you my pretty Jane, you’ve made my day*
