Thirty four years of love
Thirty four years of being together
Together in sickness and in health
Together hopefully forever
Forever through thick and thin
Forever we laugh and we cry
Cry with our quirks
Cry sometimes
Sometimes we fight but make up
Sometimes we see the world
World of wisdom
World without pain
Pain of illness
Pain of separation
Separation when I go to the Philippines
Separation once a year
Year after year of adventure
Year when the son was born
Born after 7 years
Born and gave us joy
Joy seeing him grow
Joy in the house with garden
Garden full of plants
Garden with 3 tortoises
Tortoises Gin, Rex and Nik
Tortoises, apple tree and flowers
Flowers in bloom
Flowers in June
June when we got married
June on the hottest day
Day to day living
Day from one country to the next
Next to nothing
Next comes the surprise
Surprise of what happens next
Surprise we live in
In the house to be safe
In the house baking bread
Bread and cakes and curries
Bread for life
Life is a blessing
Life is what we make of it
It is without a fuss
It is challenging
Challenging but fun
Challenging but invigorating
Invigorating kissing me
Invigorating being with you
You
Me*

* The Blitz Poem, a poetry form created by Robert Keim.
This form of poetry is a stream of short phrases and images with repetition and rapid flow.
Begin with one short phrase, it can be a cliché. Begin the next line with another phrase that begins with the same first word as line 1. The first 48 lines should be short, but at least two words.
The third and fourth lines are phrases that begin with the last word of the 2nd phrase, the 5th and 6th lines begin with the last word of the 4th line, and so on, continuing, with each subsequent pair beginning with the last word of the line above them, which establishes a pattern of repetition.
Continue for 48 total lines with this pattern, And then the last two lines repeat the last word of line 48, then the last word of line 47.
The title must be only three words, with some sort of preposition or conjunction joining the first word from the third line to the first word from the 47th line, in that order.
There should be no punctuation. When reading a BLITZ, it is read very quickly, pausing only to breathe.

Hello Lady Lee! It’s my first time here in your blog (got here through Jesh’s) and I am very happy to be here not just because of your beautiful Anniversary post but because we are both Filipinos! I want to greet you and your hubby a Happy Anniversary, and wish you both the best of health body, mind, and spirit. Sending you hugs from your home island! Mabuhay!
