THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “Lip” by Karla Huston: fiddled, bar, wedding, lip, joints, lights, weight, music, dancing, corn, bruised, dusty

Dancing on the way to the hills
Music is heard on the dusty cornfield
As the lady fiddles that song very nicely
Feeling light and with all the thrills

Thrills I feel in my bones and joints
Meandering through the fields of heather
I hear the wedding bells somewhere so far away
Bruised my lips slipping at that point

Point is will I marry or not?
He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me!
For he is the missing piece of my puzzle
So I agree to tie the knot

Knot it is and the beams glancing
Weight off my shoulders, he’s always my knight
And in this dream I wear a soft flowing white gown
Together through the night dancing*
