THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “In the Fourth of July Parade” by Rosemerry Wahtola Trommer: middle, braids, back, times, grace, swimming, bliss, simple, make, gate, joy, parade
Swimming in the unknown
With grace to fight what’s there
Number of times to err
Simple just to bemoan
Such joy if we are shown
We could make it I swear
Parade of challenges
Don’t go back but face it
Such bliss we’re to admit
Fight one so challenging
Even with damages
Go on and never quit
As we open the gate
So proud and feeling great*

You start with such a captivating image. The poem builds up beautifully. It takes courage to cross over with full awareness of your limitations. Thank you, Lady Lee!
