Bought and sold apples in the stall
Amidst the pandemic there’s a market
Fresh fruit and vegetables from the local farm
Bought some apples that’s a bargain
Bargain because of good harvest
Farmers want their produce to be sold
Potatoes, carrots, brocollis, apples and pears
In some stalls are beef that were rolled
Rolled steak that’s easy to fry
Local wine and cheese, also to die for
Pickled herring and mackerel, don’t forget them
Each stall has something to explore
Explore to our own delights
Salmon, cod, trout, they were all freshly caught
Some new dishes to add to my repertoire
Satisfied with what I have bought*
