In the midst of darkness, light persists
However tough life could be
The sun would always peek through the leaves
Some leaves surrounded by heaves as free
Chasing dreams with all my might, I do
I was born to fight and grin
Through the leaves the sun would always peek
Dancing in the snow where I begin
We can always find light in the dark
Try as hard and be patient
The sun would always peek through the leaves
And for that we just keep on chasing*

Thank you so much for joining in with this beautiful poem, Lady Lee. Thank you for also including an explanation of the form. I love form poetry, but I had never heard of the ZaniLa Rhyme. I’m going to copy that explanation for my reference.
