Friday Fictioneers – The clouds have shifted

PHOTO PROMPT © Na’ama Yehuda

The clouds have shifted, should I go?
Should I be rooted here?
Under the branch as the wind blows?
Until I disappear?
The light has passed, should be on course
On my horse without any force
The light has passed
The light has passed
To the fertile soil even coarse

The clouds have shifted, should I go?
Some blocks away from here
Burning with desire as I glow
But away from you dear
Shy from the life of adventure
Now I go for my thirst quencher
Shy from the life
Shy from the life
Experience I want to venture

The clouds have shifted, should I go?
Perhaps you’d like to come
Experience will make us both grow
Away from all the glum
Maybe good, maybe bad, it’s ours
And as we follow the stars
Maybe good
Maybe good
Varied and colourful memoirs*
