It’s just the right time
Time to accept the truth
Time for bells to chime
Time for the pain to soothe
Time to accept the truth
That you are not here
And you went back to Ruth
No longer my dear
Time for bells to chime
Move on and see what’s there
To forgive in time
I know life isn’t fair
Time for the pain to soothe
In tme I’ll forget
Actually you’re uncouth
But then no regret

There is a road back into grace
but it’s hard to turn aside,
look at that which we must face,
the letting-go of pride.
There is a road that welcomes us,
but we can’t walk it alone;
for those we tossed beneath the bus,
we must, at last, atone
and pick them up and dust their clothes
which we have torn and frayed,
apologise (God only knows)
for the fell part we’ve played,
and take our victim’s holy hand
that we’re led unto the Promised Land.

Letting go isn’t always easy. Rarely is, in fact. But it frees our hands to grasp that which the Lord wants to put in them. Visiting from FMF, #28. God bless and keep you.

Letting go does take time! And it can be painful, for sure, but we can also choose the way we face it. Very well said. (Also I love the Kim’s gif. 🙂 )
