THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “Take Wing Tempo” by Ladan Osman: barefoot, gravel, frame, float, flight, shaves, pulse, plucks, leap, double, blood, grins
I woke up in 2021 ….
Twisted some petals, falling in gravel
Plucking some courage
Staying home, social distancing
Doing my share for virus not spread
Not seeing my loved ones
But I don’t mind, being patient
For I know hope comes
I woke up in 2021 ….
Barefoot and floating in the air
Feeling positive, still grinning
There is hope amidst the pandemic
Vaccination against covid developed
Starting to roll out double in numbers
Fight and flight leaping in the frame
Pulse normalised, away in easy slumbers*

Sadly humans ignored the virus for many months never fully realising the danger they were in, Yes, the vaccines are here now but so many people have perished due to careless governments and populations that never thought it was that serious. Let’s hope history books will give all the facts in future of the mistakes made and of the arrogant people that never thought it would affect them.
