commune with nature
stop, listen to its talk
chasing waterfall
chasing waterfall
sound of the fountain of life
ever so faithful
ever so faithful
stridently trickling down
splashing like pearls
splashing like pearls
cleanses the soul and spirit
refreshingly good
refreshingly good
cool water, my loyal friend
drizzling onto me
drizzling onto me
a curtain of white water
in nonchalant way
in nonchalant way
on such a gorgeous day
a force of nature
a force of nature
both beautiful and brutal
charming waterfall
charming waterfall
I’m a minor observer
watching you with awe

Lady Lee, your haiku sequence flows like the waterfall! This is so lovely! This is a good example of a metaphor! ❤

I love that you used the ending of one haiku to start the next, such a cute idea!

I enjoyed the winding pattern of matching first and last verse, reminded me of a waterfall with multiple pools along its path.
