The silvery web became tangled around his throat

silvery web became tangled 

around his throat he strangled

can’t come out he became bitter

bowed his face, he’s not a quitter,  got untangled

as he’s getting older he finds

his father meeting with his minds

same principles, beard and style

becoming like him with smile and spellbinds

shirked his responsibilities

but buys and mends utilities

such contradictions in his life

making him strife with his wife from the Philippines*
