#WRITEPHOTO Anniversary Edition – Crown

Crown – Image by KL Caley
For visually challenged writersthe image shows a golden crown adorned with jewels and pearls. Behind this are windows with views across the countryside.

THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “Giverny” by Ian Pople: dust, jar, blue, falcon, neck, fleeing, leave, empty, gathered, stream, desk, slept

Dusting the crown, I am the queen

In this house where I sleep and clean

And on his desk is Him Indoors

My king as he gathered some weeds

Emptying bins, planting some seeds

The son and wife leaving on tours

Holding hands as they walk down stream

I’m happy not fleeing this dream

Wearing the crown with Him Indoors*
