For the visually challenged reader, this image shows three orange traffic cones placed on the road. There is ice on the road surface and foot prints can be seen on the ice.
They decided to go away
for the Easter weekend by car
accident on the motorway
two cars collided without care
snowed all evening and road icy
and with fog the road not so clear
Police and ambulance were called
traffic ensued not a good scene
ever so slowly cars were hauled
thankfully no victims had been
still snowing they wiped their screen
they’d be late, the hotel was called
They got out of the motorway
the country side they carried on
hungry and tired such a doomsday
and there infront a marathon
stopped the car and they both yawn
not a lot to do the day’s grey
By the time they reached the hotel
both were tired and just stayed in bed
ordered room service and doorbell
pasta with cheese, wine and some bread
tiramisu such great spread
tomorrow accident not dwell*
