Dazzle our lives and cross the bridge
It’s claiming to travel the ridge
Enjoy serotinal flowers
Beauty around us all hours
Focus on walking the footbridge
Such muliebrity that is rich
Everybody commits to which
And they could be our big powers
Dazzle our lives
Don’t push, we’ll get across the bridge
Don’t cut corner and don’t abridge
Soon we’ll reach the top of towers
And we’ll get some sort of powers
The bridge with ivy to its ridge
Dazzle our lives*

- A Rondeau is a French form, 15 lines long, consisting of three stanzas: a quintet, a quatrain, and a sestet with a rhyme scheme as follows: aabba aabR aabbaR. Lines 9 and 15 are short – a refrain (R) consisting of a phrase taken from line one. The other lines are longer (but all of the same metrical length).

At times it is a question of whether to slowly cross the bridge or just to burn the the bridge… Sorry I am in an introspective mode today! 🙂
