What do you see # 145 –  Painting some scene

For the visually challenged reader, this image shows an easel covered in white paper. Two hands are emerging out of the easel, the right one holding a posy of roses.

Remember when you pledge me smile?

Awestruck while you were painting some scene

Some wintergreen in the forest for mile

And for awhile I thought I was your queen

Traces of love no longer there

And to be fair even with words

And I was no longer your muse

Wasn’t amuse so much

Disturbing though but life’s like that

To fall flat for this greedy clutch

And that’s too much for me towards

In other words with smutch

High time to accept the fact that you’re gone

What you’ve drawn didn’t mean a thing

Like you have fling a stone in our lawn

And I was con with the bullets that zing

Perhaps it’s best to move on in style

That you are vile regress towards the mean

Had I foreseen I’d run away for mile

It’s not worthwhile to think what we had been*
