What do you see # 146 – On our bike

For the visually challenged reader, this image shows a bicycle leaning against a wall which has a wall art of two boys. The bicycle is positioned in a way that the boys appear to be riding it.

THIS WEEK’S WORDS come from “Eating the Glacier” by Lauren Winchester: chips, breathe, gaze, guide, marrow, ice, piece, membrane, light, taste, fluid, back

Riding on your back

I know we’re on track

Zoom in zoom out on the streets

You’re always my guide

Always by your side

Ice-cream and chips on our beats

Fun riding our bike

All the things we like

Breathe in breathe out exercise

The taste of childhood

Sometimes we are good

Happy gazing at our prize

We’re still in one piece

Though we’re full of grease

Light or dark we didn’t mind

Go home when we’re tired

And our brain so wired

And with you I’m always fine*
