Terri says: “We have so much snow in Eastern Washington this year! This is a view of my house from down the street. The small mountain peaks that you see are just north of us a few miles. Not really high in elevation (just under 3000f). but after two winters here, I’ve never seen them like this.”
When snow first fall
Fun throwing some balls
Our own winter wonderland
Can go skiing
Or ice skating
After some time we can’t stand
Please stop snowstorm
As well as hailstorm
Winter has been far too long
Strong winds all over
Cars are white cover
Their energy so strong
Now give us a break
Sunshine and no flake
When weather’s bad can’t go out
Now we want spring
So we can all sing
We’ll have a good time no doubt*

Too much of a good thing turns sour, huh, Lady Lee? 😉 I love your poem.

I love it, Lady Lee… I have written these lines down for the next time it snows: “…Now give us a break, Sunshine and no flake!” I love it. 💛
