“The mind that opens to a new idea never returns to its original size”

By silvery moon
I sing my heart to you
Eloquence so soft
Seeking the steam of my soul
Bliss, star of my garden

Melody from heart
No cloud in sky to be seen
Watch birds fly somewhere
Till dawn when Nature smiles
Pursuing your affection

“The world is a dangerous place to live
Not because of the people who are evil but
because of the people who don’t do anything about it”
Albert Einstein’s quote is a wonderful quote
Makes us wrestle with our memories
Whether we are acting on its saintly cue
Cracking the code, holding the true meaning
Or tracking down the science behind it
We know we’re not angels and we do react
To different situations in varied ways
But what Einstein is trying to tell us is
To be responsible and look after each one
If we see something evil being done
We don’t just stand there and watch
We have to do something about it
We have to see to it that we are not
Just passive onlookers and self-centred
Don’t let evil wins, be active and do it right

Here is my list of people who have inspired me :

Him Indoors – his sense of humour is to die for. I love him to the moon and back and he inspires me to reach the highest star, climb the highest mountain and swim the deepest sea.

My Dad – his high regard of responsibility, generosity and kindness inspired me. I still miss him.

My Mum – her fun and closeness to family makes me love her more. Wish she’ll be with us for many years more.

HRH the son – ah, our pride and joy. His being so cool and takes his own time inspires me.

Jose Rizal – our national hero. His novels and the way he inspired people to fight for freedom is number one on my list.

she sits with the cello supported on the floor
she looks at the audiences and reads the brochure
he arranges his musical sheets and gets ready
together they will produce a blissful medley

music coming from heaven as their fingers play
we drift with the sound and all worries send away
and so music thrives, cello moans, piano mellows
glory of the song, harmonics and allegros

a well-developed vibrato technique is used
duet’s a masterclass to inspire and enthuse
softly, the piano plays in tune with the cello
angels carry the notes up to heaven to flow

Fun ekphrastic poetry, Lady Lee. I had to listen to the song because of the poem. It piqued my interest! Thanks for the great share with WQ! Have a wonderful week, my friend.
