“In the midst of darkness, light persists”

In this cruel world there’s still hope

A light in the midst of darkness

Challenges we have but we can cope

Listen to the benefits of stillness

Try again, don’t throw the towel yet

A light in the midst of darkness

Hard work, tribulation, blood and sweat

The coverage of life is interesting and vast

Try again, don’t throw the towel yet

Sometimes we feel we can’t stop the crash

Even though there’s no way but to concede

The coverage of life is interesting and vast

We may win, lose, cry and even bleed

And we have to carry on with life

Even though there’s no way but to concede

Against all odds, faith and hope’s still rife

In this cruel world there’s still hope

And we have to carry on with life

Challenges we have but we can cope*

I love this poem, LL! It really says it all about facing obstacles and continuing forth with hope! A perfect quote from Shakespeare, too! Love your gallery of lights!
