The Expected One
1860
painting by Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller (Museum: Bavarian State Painting Collections) wikidata.org
With flowers in my hand
I’m waiting for you
you’re the sunshine that brings colour to my life
my north, south, east and west
and my evergreen
Wake up in the morning
with you always there
in my mind you are here by my side and all
I can take anything
my inspiration
And when I sleep at night
you’re my moon and star
like a lullaby that takes me to dreamland
And I know after dawn
a new day will come*

Lady Lee, your double ennead is fabulous. I think you captured the essence of the couple. The boy looks smitten!
