Hello everyone! Just got back from my long weekend trip in Dusseldorf. I visited my college friend E and also met my cousin M. Anyway, here are some street scenes in Dusseldorf.
We met some friends and had our ladies’ evening
We went to Croatian and Japanese restaurants
Not to mention the cakes and coffees in the afternoon, as well as our shopping spree
Another night-out with friends
Last but not the least, our “pamper ourselves” Sunday (with Filipino food, manicure, pedicure, chit-chats)
Have a great week everyone!

Sihanoukville is a province in southwest Cambodia known for its beaches, tropical islands and the mangrove jungles of Ream National Park. Set around a deep-water port on a peninsula jutting into the Gulf of Thailand, the provincial capital of Sihanoukville has palm-fringed beaches, seafood restaurants and late-night bars. Overlooking the capital is the hilltop Buddhist temple of Wat Leu. (Wikipedia)

Hello everyone! Snowy Monday here in Munich and I’ve just arrived last night from the Philippines. Actually, we already had our holiday there three weeks ago, but I had to go back after 4 days…. emergency. My mother was taken to the hospital, pneumonia, a very tough one for an 80 year old. She was first taken to a nearby hospital and after 3 days, the doctor said they couldn’t do anything for her, so they transferred her to one of the best hospitals in the Philippines where she was put in an intensive care unit for 4 days, with 5 specialists, including a Cardiologist and Nephrologist. Her sodium and oxygen was so low and she had water in her lungs. Luckily, she made it through and now back at home recovering. Really grateful that she made it through.
Lord, there are marvelous things that I do not know, nor can I comprehend.
Lord, things that happen in my life, and things that happen in my mother’s life.
Lord, I desire to be thankful, to appreciate everything that comes across my path.

Hello everyone! Just got back from our month-long holiday in four countries – UK, Philippines, Singapore and Cambodia. Still jetlagged here, laundry up to the ceiling as our suitcases are full of dirty clothes, shovelling snow, back to reality…. Anyway, here are some photos taken in Manila as we’ve spent the New Year’s Eve and Day there, then came back there after our visit to one of the islands.

Hello everyone! Yesterday was sunny here in Bavaria so we cycled for a couple of hours. We went to a field full of timber and pumpkins. We saw some horses and mountains and the falling autumn leaves.
