HMS Victory

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all fine. Just got back from the UK, where we visited HRH the son and his beautiful K in Southampton. They’re settling down alright in their new flat. We took the train to Portsmouth to see the historic Dockyard. We went to see HMS Victory, which served as Vice Admiral Lord Nelson’s flagship at the Battle of Trafalgar. We spent the morning going in and out of the ship. We had a great time!

Hello everyone from a cloudy Bavarian morning.

Oh well, we can’t have lovely weather everyday. Last week was brilliant, though. We were able to cycle around. Him Indoors is on holiday for a month, so he was out gardening most of the time. Sharing with you some of our new flowers.

Last night, we had dinner at the Greek’s – the place was full, people were outside and the food was really delicious!

By the way, I’ll have a break from blogging. We’re going on holiday for two weeks – in two countries – yay! I’ll tell you all about it when I get back. For now, have a lovely week everyone!

So, what made you smile this week?

Sunday in Ostpark

Hello everyone! We cycled to Ostpark yesterday and spent the morning by the lake, drinking beer, eating ice-cream, looking at the ducks and swans and just enjoying a lovely day.

This week we are celebrating the first wedding anniversary of HRH the son and his beautiful K. They are now in Barcelona and last night they watched the game at Camp Nou. FC Barcelona won, yay! Best wishes to the couple and many more years to share together. We love you.

Maypole – raising

Hello everyone. Happy first of May. This morning we had the Maypole-raising in our town. There was a big crane that raised the Maypole, some speeches were made and the band played. People wore Lederhosen and Dirndl, drank beer and ate brezen. It was a lovely tradition.

Happy Easter Monday everyone! Hope you are all fine. Him Indoors and I had a quiet and contemplative Holy Week/Easter holiday week. The weather was fine on some days, that’s when we cycled or did some gardening. When it wasn’t that good, we stayed inside and did some chores and other hobbies. I was able to write/blog a lot. I managed to write some poems.

I’m very grateful that my mother is fine in the Philippines. Through messenger, we video chat almost every day. My aunt was able to stay with her and together they visited some churches and went to Bulacan to see the passion play. My brother and his family were also able to join them.

HRH the son and his beautiful K went to see Southampton v Manchester football game. They said they had a great time. OK, Southampton lost, but that’s another story.

That’s it from me. Have a lovely week everyone!
