FFfAW Challenge – 173rd – Flock of birds fly in the summit

photo-20180709155706227
This week’s photo prompt is provided by wildverbs. Thank you wildverbs for our photo prompt!

After the cloudburst a tender breeze
Flock of birds fly in the summit
Generating love and peace
So please don’t gun them down
On such a bright day
Three doves flying
Remember
They bring
Hope
Peace
For all
Harmony
Equality
No fights no hunger
In an ideal world
When we’re all responsible
And each one has a role to play
For freedom and democracy
As the birds fly, trees sway and sun shines

FFfAW Challenge – We talk as we walk

photo-20180702161037901
This week’s photo prompt is provided by Michelle De Angelis. Thank you Michelle!

We talk as we walk down the path
Sun so hot had to wear my hat
Out came your old blue umbrella

Right and left with all the flora
So happy for our little chat
Under the tree is a birdbath

Some parts are wet in the footpath
Take note that cat is chasing rat
They’re over there by the dahlia

Roses, lavender and fuchsia
Who did what, who said what, our chat
Shop till we drop, the aftermath

No topic too great we just talk
The sun is shining as we walk*

I don’t even know what to say

This week’s photo prompt is provided by Enisa. Thank you Enisa!

Torn between parched and moist
Role we play
Crystals fuse and trap in the vase
Some part of me rejoiced
When you say
That you don’t want to be someplace

Trap in this mundane world
Torn apart
When trust was broken and you left
Unforgiving words hurled
No Mozart
Just storm that left me bereft

Emotions flared as the vase broke
We part ways
Nothing could be done but goodbye
And with our love revoke
No delays
Memories of the past we sigh*

Weekly Writing Challenge #143 – Broken

DOOR Template Instructions

(5) Words: | BRINK | WALK | GAZE | SKY | ROAD |

On the brink of the cliff hanging
Over a wide river she stood
Gazing at the sky, heart aching

Long walk of memories sting
Road of being misunderstood
On the brink of the cliff hanging

Broken promises, heart bleeding
Expectation not what it should
Gazing at the sky, heart aching

In the summer and in the spring
Tried to make amends as they could
On the brink of the cliff hanging

It didn’t work and so baffling
Together of unlikelihood
Gazing at the sky, heart aching

They have to move on, that’s the thing
It’s for the best for what it should
On the brink of the cliff hanging
Gazing at the sky, heart aching*

Are you the angel of the night?
There for my plight
On top of the cliff I saw you
Sky so blue
You put bandage on my scar
Fair and square

You are always there never fake
Guiding me with all challenges
Helping me make the right choices
Knowing what’s at stake every day from daybreak

Home is being with you
Every breath you take away
You make my world not blue
Under the rainbow and archway
Radiant with love as we go through
Time and time until we’re grey

Fly me to the moon
You and I, we’re the keys
Umbrella to keep us dry in June
Anything to keep us away from fleas
Gone with the wind and balloon
Every way to cross the seven seas
