The blue and white pattern
Other colours, too
It is now our turn
For what it is due
Other colours, too
Granny’s inheritance
Been there as we grew
Miss her in her absence
It is now our turn
To have these dishes
Better than flatiron
Keep them in boxes
For what it is due
Will pass them to our kids
I know they’re not new
Their value for more quids
Granny’s inheritance
Remembering her
Sitting there in silence
We never bicker
Been there as we grew
With tea and apple pie
Until all kids flew
Granny left we said bye
