10-line Poem Challenge #9: Copla Real

She examines her red attire
Her palm’s all sweaty, she’s nervous
And then he comes, the fine squire
Love at first sight with dear Alice
Falls down his knees, gives her sapphire

There’s a serpent in the garden
The squire kills it with his sword
Cheers from all for what he has done
Alice kisses him as reward
The date’s brilliant, they’re having fun
