The pleasure of seeing my footprints

Footprints in the sand from a distance

Distance from the vituperate world

World still with my existence

Each of us with ravelled story

Story that could be lull or playful

Playful with the swagger of my honey

Honey you’re so faithful

Carving of my name in the sand

Sand of life giving me clues

Clues which I can pinpoint

Pinpoint when I am feeling blues*
