What is your favourite holiday?
I love holidays! Tis the season to be jolly…I guess Christmas is my favourite!
What types of food is associated with your holiday?
In the Philippines, we have “noche buena” and we usually have ham and cheese, all the seasonal fruit, pancit, adobo, mechado, lechon, leche flan, etc. With Him Indoors being British, we usually have roast turkey and all the trimmings.
Do you travel for your holiday?
I love travelling, any excuse to travel, we do it. For Christmas, we usually take turns of travelling to the UK or the Philippines or we stay at home, in Munich. This year, we are staying here and the in-laws are coming from the UK. HRH the son and his beautiful K are spending Christmas with her family and they will come after Christmas to be with us for the New Year.
Is it a religious or spiritual holiday?
We’re not really religious, so it’s purely for fun and family!
Is there a gift exchange?
Him Indoors and I don’t really do exchange gifts (usually we travel or buy things we want during the year). But we’ve got gifts for everyone and we put them under our Christmas tree.
How long does the celebration last?
For as long as we want. Parents-in-law are arriving tomorrow, so fun starts tomorrow. Son and beautiful wife are arriving on the 28th and stay until the 7th January. Happy Holidays everyone!
