the flow of traffic
nobody standing still
building made of glass
they have to pay the bill

the financial district
busy as a bee in surface
like what we predict
people making a fuss

never ending talks
dripping tales at a time
nobody jaywalks
some work till bedtime

people always in a rush
hang on, what’s that?
upholstery so plush
is it a massive bobcat?

a giant cat on top!
what’s it doing there?
don’t know, just pop
people went out to stare

circling around us
purring, giving hope
dizzying so aimless
I’m sure we can cope

like it’s the last day on earth
is it the end of the world?
looked at home in right berth
they did everything, even hurled
